Beyond Gaming offers a dynamic online portal, which allows competitive console gamers new ways to enjoy their gaming experience. Using propriety technology, Beyond Gaming gives paying members the ability to participate in stakes‐based competitive gaming action on their favorite console game titles against each other regardless of time or geographic location in a safe, secure and legal environment.
Tony Legeza, president and CEO of Beyond Gaming, stated “The partnership with Rocket Ventures will allow us to build upon the solid foundation of the company and with this investment we will grow the business. It also allows us to bring on full time employment for four individuals.”
In addition to hiring four employees, Beyond Gaming will use the funding from Rocket Ventures to relocate to a larger office and continue their marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts. The company will also continue to develop their software with new technology and add enhanced features and more game titles to their website.
“Rocket Ventures’ investment in Beyond Gaming is very strategic for us as it represents an opportunity to expand the diversity of our technologies into the high‐growth and information‐rich industry sector of gaming,” said Greg Knudson, Rocket Ventures director.
“Additionally, we are very impressed with the management team and the level of enthusiasm they bring to growing a successful tech‐based company in Northwest Ohio.”
Beyond Gaming also received a $37,500 Ignite! grant from Rocket Ventures earlier this year.
